Yesterday, we couldn't feed Loki enough. He wanted to eat a lot and constantly, whether bottle or boobie. Today, he'll barely take either. What the heck? He should be eating right at an ounce a hour or a bit more. Instead, yesterday, he wanted two ounces an hour. Today, nada. Nothing. No mommy, I will NOT eat. You cannot make me. I am the boss.
Sigh.
I got so engorged I had to pump this morning.
Etcetera.
Isn't it crazy how they change day to day? Aidan was such a great eater his first two months - every 3 hours right after waking up, like clockwork. Now, it's a mess. He only eats a little bit here and there but wants to eat every 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I've tried staving him off and he screams bloody murder. I've tried getting him to eat more at one session - no way. And at night, he's waking up three times to eat and he gulps down the milk. I'm so exhausted with his lack of schedule for eating and sleeping.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a growth spurt to me. My kids STILL eat/grow that way.
