Well, Loki has reached about 13 pounds. As with Ander, I hate the sling, even with the extra strap, at this weight. It kills my back.
Fortunately, my sister got an extra carrier as a gift and doesn't have the receipt. It has a lumbar back strap and crisscross, extra-padded shoulder straps. And Loki loves it.
Finally, a bonus picture of baby feet.
Etcetera.
Slings kill my back too! Unfortunately so does the Bjorn with the criss-cross back :(
ReplyDeleteMy sister lived for the sling. I much preferred the carrier. Plus, the kid looks like a turtle in its shell. Too cute! -D.
ReplyDeleteI can't use a sling or a carrier. The only one I can use is a Moby wrap (I probably could use a Mei Tai too). Glad you found something that's comfy. BTW, it's great to hear from you again on your blog!
ReplyDeletemy back hurts just looking at how low he is in that sling. after a certain weight JD had to ride on my shoulder, then he moved to the hip and now he is on my back. i liked the sling cause i could use it for all those positions. the strappy kind always hurt my shoulders.
ReplyDeleteI know...he really was too low. But he couldn't hold his head up yet, so other positions just weren't working.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this blog. That's all I can say. You most definitely have made this blog into something thats eye opening and important. You clearly know so much about the subject, you've covered so many bases. Great stuff from this part of the internet. Again, thank you for this blog.
