The Plan

1. Make a concerted effort to put things back where they actually belong whenever possible.

2. Clean up after each activity (ie. cooking dinner).

3. Spend 15 minutes a day cleaning wherever the need is greatest.

Etcetera.

  2. That is a fantastic plan! In theory I have been trying to do all those things for quite a while now. In practice, #1 happens more often than it used to, #2 is about 50-50 (usually more like 75-25 when I'm not pg), and #3 never happens. To me the hardest part is when you have 2 or 3 or 4 other people who are all contributing to the mess but who aren't doing any of these things. It's just plain discouraging.
