Most people who plan love to explore handwriting.
Smaller handwriting means that a lighter planner works. Larger handwriting can be beautiful and easy to read.
I found a new toy for exploring handwriting, drawing, and making temporary list. It's called the Boogie Board.
My 7 year old got one for his birthday, but Mommy keeps stealing it!
It's great for menu planning, grocery lists, practicing spelling words with the kids in a fun way, and doodling.
I'm considering getting one for myself.
The battery lasts about a year and you can write and erase again and again.
I get it - it's just a toy! That simply means I am obligated to play with it, right?

This looks very cool, and I will explore the idea further.
However, the product description begins with "Say Goodbye to Paper!", which terrifying notion shall ring in my ears for the rest of the day. ;-)
That is horrible! I agree...I could never live without paper.
Also, with the Boogie Board, you have to erase all at once. On paper, you don't have to do that!
It is not a replacement for paper, but a fun toy/tool for people who like to handwrite.
I have two of these. I love them and my husband is fascinated by the technology that makes them work. My nephew really likes playing with it when he's over too.
I got one of those too, and I love it. It's perfect for a temporary todo list (one that I can leave to the kids), or to copy a recipe from my computer without wasting a piece of paper (I'll print it nicely if I like it). Kids love to play with it when they have to wait somewhere boring :)
