Most people who plan love to explore handwriting.
Smaller handwriting means that a lighter planner works. Larger handwriting can be beautiful and easy to read.
I found a new toy for exploring handwriting, drawing, and making temporary list. It's called the Boogie Board.
My 7 year old got one for his birthday, but Mommy keeps stealing it!
It's great for menu planning, grocery lists, practicing spelling words with the kids in a fun way, and doodling.
I'm considering getting one for myself.
The battery lasts about a year and you can write and erase again and again.
I get it - it's just a toy! That simply means I am obligated to play with it, right?
Etcetera.

This looks very cool, and I will explore the idea further.
ReplyDeleteHowever, the product description begins with "Say Goodbye to Paper!", which terrifying notion shall ring in my ears for the rest of the day. ;-)
That is horrible! I agree...I could never live without paper.
ReplyDeleteAlso, with the Boogie Board, you have to erase all at once. On paper, you don't have to do that!
It is not a replacement for paper, but a fun toy/tool for people who like to handwrite.
I have two of these. I love them and my husband is fascinated by the technology that makes them work. My nephew really likes playing with it when he's over too.
ReplyDeleteI got one of those too, and I love it. It's perfect for a temporary todo list (one that I can leave to the kids), or to copy a recipe from my computer without wasting a piece of paper (I'll print it nicely if I like it). Kids love to play with it when they have to wait somewhere boring :)
