The Context Task List Planner Hack

I just did something so simple and so smart in my planner that I kicked myself for not doing it earlier!

to do list, weekly, tasks, context code lists

I've had a running task list in my weekly pages for a long time. I like to be able to move it from week-to-week.

And, as Loyal Readers know, I use context codes for to do lists. Basically, that means that I sort tasks based on WHERE I'll do them - on the computer, on the phone, at home, etc.

But until now, I crammed the whole list on a hot list.

But I found some colorful (and cheap!!!) notepads at the dollar store and decided to change things up!

I staggered the to do lists, labeled them by context, paper clipped them together, and hole-punched the whole thing.

Boom!

Context code specific task lists that easily move from week-to-week.

I love this!

Other smart ideas for using these lists:
*budgets
*home-school lesson plans
*family members' schedules
*shopping lists
*daily meal plans

  2. Something else caught my attention here too. The way you write down the schedules. Do you have a blog post on that too? Or a video, please? I know we should consider the time we have to leave... But the way you write it down is very interesting! I would love to know more.
